SarahAahoo Jansouzshahi (10 January 1980) was better known by her stage name Sarah Shahi, an American model and actress. She played Carmen on The L Word in 2005, Kate Reed in the USA Network legal drama Fairly Legal (2011-2012) and Sameen Shaw on the CBS crime drama Person of Interest (2012-2016). Also, she played the role of Det. Dani Reese appeared in Life [3] as a well as in Alias as a supporting character. She starred in Reverie the 2018 show. In 2019, she was in a recurring role in City on a Hill on Showtime[5] and starred in seven episodes on the show The Rookie as romantic interest Jessica Russo While working as an extra on the production of Dr. T and the Women in Texas, Shahi met director Robert Altman, who encouraged her to go to Hollywood, where she received the roles in various series, including Alias and Dawson's Creek, Reba, and Supernatural. She played the second season's supporting role for DJ Carmen de la Pica Morales as seen on The L Word in 2005. Shahi's two-year contract was not renewed after the end of season four and her character was cut from the show.
